In this week long workshop on the beautiful campus of Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, participants will be studying poetry,  picture books, non-fiction, and fiction for middle grade and young adult readers.  Working with seasoned authors featuring Phyllis Root, California Young Reader Medal Winner Patricia Hermes, Coretta Scott King Award Winner Nikki Grimes, Newbery Honor Winner Susan Campbell Bartoletti, Orbis Pictus Honor Winner Carla McClafferty, and Scott O'Dell Award Winner A.
