In this week long workshop on the beautiful campus of Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas, participants will be studying poetry,  picture books, non-fiction, and fiction for middle grade and young adult readers. 
Working with accomplished authors like Sid Fleischman Humor Award Winner Lisa Yee, Newberry Honor and Printz Honor Winner Gary D. Schmidt, Publishers Weekly Cuffie Award Winner Paul B. Janeczko, three time winner of the Lupine Award Jacqueline Briggs Martin, and Scott O'Dell Award Winner A. LaFaye, attendees will learn how to craft their own writing and model great writing for their students.  Open to beginning writers, teachers interested in expanding their writing curriculum, and anyone eager to learn more about the world of writing for children.  Housing will be dorm apartments with single occupancy bedrooms.
Tuition will include meals.

Monday June 15th,  8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.

June 15th to 19th  (M-F) 9:00 a.m.to 4:15 p.m.

The fee for this conference is only $600.00.

Graduate Credit also available for an additional fee.
